Icons are based on macOS versions and do not have a way to change when the Macbook Neo schemes is changed. This makes resilio synced folders look out of place and not consistent with macOS.

Hello, I'd like to to request a feature as well as report a few bugs

	Feature requests:
- There is no "favorites" album that you can browse to upload files
- There is no "videos" or "screen recordings" folders either, which are native iOS folders on the device. There are many other categories that are missing as well.
- Make thumbnails of photos and videos larger. Even on iphone 16 pro max, thumbnails are very tiny. Harder to see what the video is, and if the timestamp is longer than 3 digits, the entire label that shows the length of the video is cutoff

	Bugs:
- Thumbnails of albums do not show, haven't since the 3.0 update
- Albums are not in alphabetical order and cannot be sorted at all. Lots of time wasted searching for albums.

I'd love the ability to give mobile (phone) versions of Sync the ability to sort files by date added. Right now it's just alphabetical/size and it's been a pain for years. UPDATE: I literally just discovered the workaround (hold your phone in landscape mode and the option becomes visible). Oddly enough when I asked support about this some time ago they didn't know the workaround and just told me it wasn't a feature.

I'd like to be able to share a file to another person without making them download the software. Maybe have the app send the file contents to the website over an ftp download protocol for the person who is downloading the file directly from the host client. Or, it appears it to be possible to perform a p2p file transfer through a website interface as long as the source remains on, which the host would be the source.

Please add confirmation to the "Remove from all devices" action. The "Remove from all devices" button immediately deletes the file from all devices that have the folder synced with no confirmation. Obviously, this is a huge issue that can easily result in data loss! It would be nice to add confirmation to "Remove from this device" because re-downloading files is a pain, but requiring confirmation for "Remove from all devices" is absolutely crucial. To cope with the demands of some media apps on the NAS here, each user has a separate subdirectory under the general Music, Images, and Media directories. This means that my three syncs on the NAS client each have the short name "Keith"! If I mouse over them I'll get "/volume1/Music/Keith" but it would be nice just to have a descriptive short name!

	Hello,

Let me quickly explain my workflow. I have a NAS with a "Photos" folder set to full synchronization. I also have a laptop (with limited storage space) with that same folder using selective sync. The "Photos" folder has read/write permissions on both devices.

When I work on my laptop with photo software, for example, I sometimes delete files and/or folders.

The problem is that I then find these ".rsls" files, which makes it confusing to know what has been removed from my local machine versus what I actually want to permanently delete everywhere.

So, would it be possible to add an option to force the deletion on all devices when deleting via the file explorer, instead of the current default behavior of only deleting it from the local machine?

	Thx

I use Resilio Sync as a way to keep an always-updated collection of photos between my computer and phone (iOS). Because said collection has many nested folders, syncing to iOS' native library is not only not feasible, but not nearly as convenient as Resilio. In the past, this app has been perfect for my purposes, but the last update to the app removed the ability to sort by date. I've been trying to live with the change for the two months since then, but it's proven to be incredibly annoying. I would love it if sort by date were added back in.

	Hi

Sometimes i have to collaborate and upgrade single files, and when is used in a shared folder environment would be nice to be able to select within resilio wich files you want to receive or send first that file. Instead, we have to wait for the whole folder to update to be sure you have the last version, going trough calls or instant messages to get to know that you have the last one.

My household has a mix of Android and iOS users utilizing the Android backup and iOS one-way sync. We occasionally clear space off our devices (mostly before vacation trips) assuming all photos and videos are well preserved and synced to our NAS. Therefore, the NAS will always have more files than our phones. Both Android and iOS apps appear to let you remove the files in the app. Therefore, an app feature I think would be handy is the ability to toggle local files vs remote files to indicate a delta between the two. This would allow us to get a sense of what we have removed locally.

I am a long time user of Resilio Sync, but my biggest pain point is the lack of automatic background sync on iOS.

You have to manually open the app each time you want to sync, which means that if you are travelling, you have to depend on having access to a network before you can open your latest files.

Background sync is supported on iOS, as other apps can sync in background without needing to be open. Why not Resilio?

This could be a deal breaker for me as I am often working with files across both Mac and iOS, and I do not want to rely on cloud-based solutions.

If Resilio went down, all the existing links would cease to function. It currently holds too much responsibility for the network.

It would be cool if there was more P2P resiliency. Being able to share stuff in a true P2P fashion with the share key is awesome but the problem is that it doesn't find peers so it doesn't initialize, it would be cool if it prompted like "Could not find peers, check <tracker>?, got the <link>? add manually?" and help the user find the peers in as many ways as possible...

You could also potentially introduce similar LAN-type features:

On your local network, Windows uses a combo of broadcast and multicast protocols that only work within the LAN:

 LLMNR (Link-Local Multicast Name Resolution)

NetBIOS / SMB (Server Message Block)

 mDNS (Multicast DNS, like Bonjour)

 WS-Discovery (Web Services Discovery)

These protocols allow your computer to shout out on the local network:

“Hey, who’s out there offering file shares or services?”

All nearby devices respond over a fast, low-latency network.
It works without a central server because everyone’s on the same subnet.

The benefits are that it will invite more free developer contributions, input, ideas, etc.
It will continue to exist regardless of the success of Resilio as a company which will give more confidence to anyone building apps on top of Resilio
